Here are a few promotion ideas for your Valentine’s success:
- Host an un-Valentine’s evening. Try Friday, February 11th. Make a big deal about it – press release, email to customer list, Facebook, Twitter, four walls.
- Read the review sites for the most common complaints about V-Day and turn the complaints into a positive promotion. Something fun like, “We promise you won’t see heart-shaped ice in your wine.” Or, “We promise she won’t whine about the wine.” You could have your or a wine sommelier visit all the tables to give guests an education in what wines they should order to suit their tastes.
- Partner with a jeweler or other business for your promotion. A dozen roses for all the ladies from a florist. Sell a prix fixe dinner option with $10 of it going toward a raffle for a nice piece of jewelry or a weekend away for two in a nearby town.
